Angolský deník lékařky (1984)

The Angolan doctor's diary is a television documentary about a group of Czechoslovak citizens who build a paper industry in Alto catumbela, Angola, as part of economic development aid. The film was shot on the motives of a real event and describes the ambush of the settlement, kidnapping by UNITA militants, the sufferings of a devastating march, as well as the psychological and physical exhaustion resulting from the situation.

Nevesta (1970)

The film shows that the director has experience with theatrical form, but not with cinematic expression. Therefore, the result is rather cumbersome, despite the emphasized poetics. The director's stylization tries to adapt even the actors with the beginning Marta vančurová in the lead.
