Eva is a child of 11 or 12 years old, full of freshness and vitality, but to whom life experience has already given a certain dose of cynicism and perversity. She is employed as a handyman by a very poorly matched couple: the husband, Hubert, a specialized worker in a chemical plant, is taciturn and withdrawn; he has desires for little Eva that he dares not tell anyone about; as for his wife, dissatisfied in her married life, she brazenly cheats on him with a selfish and brutal don juan who takes advantage of the situation odiously.

Turin, in the early 50s. The Cold War, the trial of the Rosenberg spouses, the protests against Christian Democracy. It was in this climate that Anna spent her childhood with her mother, Lidia, the widow of a partisan who died in the war. Lidia is a communist, with a foolproof militancy. And there are many trials for activists of left-wing parties. Lidia works as an employee in a large company. She is a brave trade unionist, able to stand up alone against the bosses, in the midst of generally submissive employees.

Veruschka - poesia di una donna (1971)

Vera is a German model who in the midst of success goes through an existential crisis that leads her to get away from her lover and agent. She attempts to find the love of her youth, Michael, by taking refuge in the house where she grew up, in Germany. But even here he is unhappy and feels death desires, trying to alienate himself from reality goes through the use of drugs. The lover joins her and brings her back to Italy, but their newfound union lasts a short time and breaks off again, when Vera wishes to escape from success. In the end the two find each other again and just when she seems to have found the answer to their inner anguish the two die in a car accident.
