Cristina and her mother live tormented in an inner world of fear and pain, unable to recover their lives after the psychological consequences left in them by the brutal beatings of Pedro, the head of the family. Miguel will try to help, without success, two women trapped by the need to inflict on themselves the violence of the ill-treatment to which they were subjected.
