Two children, Fia who live in the magistrate's house, and Hampus which is the shoemaker's nephew, starts a game where they have to accomplish various missions in order to capture a white stone from each other. Hampus, who call themselves the hazards king after a character in a circus, promising to paint eyes, nose and mouth on the church clock, and succeed. Fia, who uses the name Fideli, may challenge to be quiet for a whole day, but it makes it hard for her to warn the hazards king when the sheriff thinks investigate who scrawled on church property.
