Hazel Bronski working at the construction site of the accident is paralysis of the lower limbs, partly guilty of failure to become the chief architect David Briand. Many years later Bronski appears in Briand's house, hiding the past, settles to work as the gardener and starts looking after Briand's small daughter for the only purpose to turn their lives into a hell and to revenge.
