The Italian art-restorer Antonio Bertie is engaged in France in restoration of pictures in an ancient cathedral. Its circle of contacts is quite narrow: only old friend Robert Morisson, successful banker.One day, Robert introduces Antonio with a teenage girl Cathy, who later served him artist's model, but she soon disappears and the police finds her dead body next to the mansion late mother of Robert.The situation is complicated by Antonio that the night of the murder, he accidentally saw Robert near the scene of the crime, but does not dare to tell this to the police.
