Yaaba (meaning grandmother) is a story that examines the relationship
between the elderly, the young and society. Yaaba is a misunderstood old
woman who is seen as a witch, but thanks to the affection and naivety of
a child, she discovers the true essence that the years have to offer.
This film shows the complicity that can arise between people of
different ages and how a young man discovers that one can learn from the
elderly without taking into account the prejudices imposed by society.
