Kalle, Anders and Eva-Lotta in White Rose witness the kidnapping of
engineer Rasmusson and his son Rasmus one summer night. The engineer has
discovered a way to make light metal impermeable, an invention that
could be of great importance to the war industry. Eva-Lotta sneaks into
the car to rescue Rasmus but is kidnapped too. Anders and Kalle follow
the kidnappers to a coastal island where they intend to force the
engineer to reveal the secret. The boys are also later discovered by the
villains and locked up. Kalle manages to escape by having all the
children jump on the villain Nicke when he is about to give Rasmus milk.
