Little Hanicka does not have an easy life-not only does she not have a
father or mother, but she is also seriously ill... Home-this is for her
a nursery and a hospital, between which she spends all her short life
and, thanks to her state of health, she has almost no hope of any
change. She herself does not take it in any way tragically, but she also
misses her mother's caress and dad's goodnight kiss during the "counting
sheep" before falling asleep. And it is in the hospital that she meets
one equally lonely person, like herself-the cleaner Anezhka. The two
decide to belong together and try to embark on a journey of happiness
together.
