In Jersey, Melanie and Vic are a special couple, although they are well integrated into the local population. Melanie seduces other men and Vic looks at his wife in the arms of others, without showing externally the slightest jealousy. He managed, however, to scare the suitors away from his wife. One day, she falls in love with the pianist Carlo. At a party, Vic will kill him making it look like an accidental death in a pool. The investigation led to the accident, but Melanie blames her husband. Then a Canadian arrives, whom Mélanie seduces again. Vic kills him, too, making the body disappear. Melanie accuses her husband again, but the investigation is closed, for lack of a corpse. Melanie then returns to loving her husband and they form an ideal couple again.
