After the death of his parents two sisters separated. Lotte is growing in the Netherlands, Anna in Berlin. Two completely different worlds. At the end of the Second World war, they find each other that brings only disappointment. Anna marries an SS officer, Martin, then lost in battle, and David groom Lotte, a Jew, tortured in a concentration camp. Fifty years later, the aged Anna and Lotte are facing at the resort. Is it possible the reunion of the sisters?
