It is the story of the encounter between two social misfits, two people desperately lonely. The young François collects boxes and bottles and resell. Unable to integrate well into society, he lives with his mother and his stepfather insensitive. Mado, 11 years old, despised by the family because of the strangeness of expressing their feelings, is kidnapped by François. He takes her to live with him in the attic of his parents ' home.
