Paul is unhappily married. Compared to his apartment alone standing Paula lives with your two children. Their encounter in a basement becomes a passion. While Paula is now in seventh heaven, Paul is still far away, is the preservation of the appearance of his marriage and thus protect his career. He can enjoy the beautiful moments, but the affair and your potential consequences to worry about him. Only when Paula loses her son in an accident and later distanced himself from him, he can feel the depth of his love for you and fights for you. The two are a couple. Shortly after Paula is pregnant again. The doctors are convinced that Paula will not survive due to health reasons the birth of a third child. Paula decides for the child and dies in childbirth.
