France, 1940. German troops have just occupied the country, but in a rural idyll family estate in which he lives 20-year-old Mellie, her impoverished aristocrat father Alexandre and cousin Alexander Robinson, the war seems more than all that far. Rich and unloved bride Mellie André was called the army. for Robinson, his temperamental friend Bertrand and other friends war seems to be just a game that they play on a blue island on the lake. Fifteen-year-old Bertrand feels as an adult, when his great love Mellie succumbs to his attentions and gives him his intimacy. Romantic patriotism Bertrand heavily wounded when he finds out that France is negotiating an armistice with the Germans. he decides to save the honor of his country and to create a line of defense against a blue island, where he was able to stop the Germans.
