Vera is a German model who in the midst of success goes through an
existential crisis that leads her to get away from her lover and agent.
She attempts to find the love of her youth, Michael, by taking refuge in
the house where she grew up, in Germany. But even here he is unhappy and
feels death desires, trying to alienate himself from reality goes
through the use of drugs. The lover joins her and brings her back to
Italy, but their newfound union lasts a short time and breaks off again,
when Vera wishes to escape from success. In the end the two find each
other again and just when she seems to have found the answer to their
inner anguish the two die in a car accident.
