Mother and daughter play in the bathtub. The daughter is touching her
own scratches. "Hey, that's unnerving," says the mother and slaps her
hand. The bath time goes on, and the power-submission relationship is
shown with even more force when it comes to braiding her hair. At night
Eliza screams, knowing she is not alone, but would her mother believe
it? The claustrophobic, painful relationship between mother and child
generates fears that come alive and replace reality. "Elisa" is a soft
horror, dispensing with blood and screams.
