After five years away from home, where he traveled to learn cooking,
Antoine returns to Liege, determined to open his own restaurant. But the
return proves more difficult than expected. His mother's health has
worsened. Antoine is overcome with remorse. He thinks of Camille, the
woman he loved and the mother of their little girl Elsa, whom he has
never met. He decides to go and see her, but when he knocks on her door,
Camille is about to leave for an important business trip. She is waiting
for the babysitter who is late in arriving. Camille panics and asks
Antoine to wait for the babysitter so she doesn't miss her plane. Caught
off guard, Antoine agrees. He is far from imagining that the babysitter
will never arrive and that he will be alone with his daughter for three
summer days.
