Bogna is a married woman with a difficult childhood behind her, the
tyranny of her religious mother, and the hopelessness of an unfulfilled
family life ahead of her. Her husband is absorbed in scientific work and
is not interested at all in her feelings and upbringing of her son.
After her husband leaves on business, Bogna learns of her mother's death
and goes to her funeral. She faces her past and encounters those she
once loved and tried to forget. Driven by passion and longing for what
she has been deprived of, the Woman takes bold steps toward realizing
the core value of her own life.
