Russia, in the 1990s. Carried since childhood by the rigor and
requirement of Professor Bojinski, Polina is a promising classical
dancer. As she prepares to join the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet, she
attends a contemporary dance performance that deeply upsets her. It's an
artistic shock that makes everything she believed in falter. She decides
to leave everything and joins Aix-en-Provence to work with the talented
choreographer Liria Elsaj and try to find her own way.
