The story of the film takes place in the week between Christmas and new year's Eve in 1899, and its plot is an international peace conference with the mission to welcome new centuries and define it as a century of peace. Against the backdrop of historical events unfolds the love story of the daughter of the Austro-Hungarian envoy Vilma and Zoluka from Montenegro.
