A tragi-comedy that brings together nine women of different ages and conditions in a hammam in Algiers, in the late Black years. In the intimacy of this space protected from the outside, the eyes and points of view intersect, in the violent, ironic, funny and grave unveiling of the repressed silences of women who have killed themselves for too long. Gradually their particular destinies are revealed, through stories that have marked and shaped their flesh, gradually revealing the political, social and sexual violence of an Algeria plagued by corruption and misery. A child is about to come into the world and all, by instinct and necessity, will rise to protect and defend this new being, symbol of their unshakable faith in the future. Nine women, nine destinies between rebellion, dream or submission, gathered in the heart of the matrix, the Hammam, where the fight is thought between secrets and exaltation, tears and laughter.
