Tony is a curious little boy who loves science and dreams of becoming a famous scholar one day. Although he is only eight years old, he wants to participate in the National Science competition with his own experiment. His neighbor Raya is a dancer and friend of the older Stefan, a bully. She wants Tony to help Stefan pass a math test. Tony refuses, and as a result, his lab mouse Marie Curie is kidnapped.

A child is about to come into the world and all, by instinct and necessity, will rise to protect and defend this new being, symbol of their unshakable faith in the future. Nine women, nine destinies between rebellion, dream or submission, gathered in the heart of the matrix, the Hammam, where the fight is thought between secrets and exaltation, tears and laughter.
