The story is about a group of nine-year-old children, descendants of colonizers from the country, who are experiencing their childhood here. The sun was last seen when they were two years old. They do not know whether to believe the rumors that the sun appears only for a couple of hours in several-year cycles. They don't know if they should believe there is any sun at all.
