In the center of the action is the chief physician Dr. Hans Schön, who lives alone after the death of his wife. In addition to his mother, his household includes two sons. The younger son, Robert, suffering from rubella, and infects his pregnant kindergarten teacher Josi. This is how Dr. Schön and Josi meet and love each other. In the first episode, the two get married, and there are other problems first with the mother of Schön and later with regard to family Concepts in the younger Generation.
