In 1938, Jettel and her five year old daughter Regina barely manage to escape from Germany to Africa, where already settled their husband and father Walter. After the "civilized" Europe Walter and Jettel does not immediately become accustomed to the fact that an indefinite time, they will have to spend on a remote farm in Kenya. And Regina quickly got used to a new life, learned the language and befriended locals. The beauty of this continent brings her great joy, passed on to her parents.
