The story is about a middle-aged man who comes to the funeral of one Dalmatian island. After a long time in their own end he remembers from his childhood, when his father was Manager of the estate of one rich woman. He remembers conflict father and peasants, farmers and fishermen, remembers the world that he is, because of the injustice and suffering of others, was away. However, he was so strange and the world after the war, when the new government razbaštinila former reigning nobility and introduced new injustice and suffering...
