SAND (21 minutes, 2008) tells the haunting story of a divorced father who had his nine-year-old daughter tries to protect against the abuse by her mother. The good-natured Luuk is a truck driver of zandladingen and father of daughter Isabel. Isabel staying after his divorce from her mother. When Luuk also just may be, he takes his daughter happy for trips to the sea and sand where father and daughter together to enjoy the beach. On a day Luuk however, behind the gruesome truth of why his daughter that day, so quiet. From that day shall be separated father Luuk this terrible truth to face, but he can if divorced father far too little to do and slowly lose control.
